There are four seasons in a year. They are winter, spring, summer and autumn. I like all seasons but my favourite one is winter.
The winter months are December, January and February. The weather is cold, frosty and windy in winter. I think that winter is a beautiful season. It often snows and everything is white with snow. Gardens, fields and forests look wonderful in winter. The temperature is low, the days are short and the nights are long.
Winter is the coldest season of the year, but children like it. We can have a very good time in winter. We can enjoy skating, skiing, playing snowballs and sledging. I can ski, I think I can ski well but I like to sledge best of all.
winter is the time for fun. There are many nice holidays in winter. We celebrate New Year on the 31st of December, Christmas on the 7th of January, Fathers' day on the 23d of January. I get many presents in winter.
